Rachael Heritage left the construction in plain sight — every joint of the Utility Shelf explains itself.
Two open, three-sided shelves with softly rounded edges hold whatever the room demands: towels in a bathroom, cookbooks in a kitchen, records in a hallway. Made in Lithuania from solid oak and oak-veneered MDF, it is the kind of honest workhorse the WOUD collection is built around.

Is the Utility Shelf solid wood?
Partly — WOUD specifies solid oak combined with MDF panels wrapped in oak veneer, a construction that keeps the wide shelves flat and stable while showing real grain.
Where does it work best?
At 32.5 in tall it slots under most windowsills and beside consoles — hallway landing zone, bathroom towel shelf, or bedside book stack. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth to care for the lacquer.
