The Hemlock carries a concealed reservoir that keeps drained water clear of the soil until you pour it out, which is the simplest guard against overwatering a houseplant. Conifer 3D-prints it to order at its East Vancouver studio from a matte plant-based composite and sends production scrap on to the Alberni Makerspace rather than to landfill. How do I empty the reservoir?
Tilt the planter over a sink and pour. Excess water collects in a well in the base rather than around the roots, so there is no saucer to slide out and no ring left on the shelf.

Which size do I need?
Match the number to the nursery pot your plant came in — the sizes refer to the top inner diameter, so a 4 in Hemlock takes a 4 in pot with the plant left in place.
