1227 Floor Lamp
Carwardine's constant-spring geometry raised to floor height, moving exactly like the 1935 desk original.
A chrome-plated steel pole lifts the aluminum shade and chrome-plated arms over a weighted cast iron base, with 23.6 inches of balanced reach for sofa-side reading. It comes in three classic colors with an E26 bulb included. See the whole 1227 family in our Anglepoise collection.

Common Questions
Is it stable when fully extended?
Yes. The wide 22.4-inch cast iron base is weighted to counter the arm at its full 23.6-inch reach — the same balance principle Carwardine engineered in the 1930s.
How long is the cord?
The cable runs 98.4 inches — just over eight feet — so the lamp can stand well away from the nearest outlet in most living rooms.
