Anglepoise's in-house team drew the 90 Mini from George Carwardine's 1970s Model 90, swapping the bulb for an integrated dimmable LED rated up to 20,000 hours. It runs on USB — cable and adapter included — with the dimmer control on top of the shade.

No — the LED is integrated and rated up to 20,000 hours, roughly a decade of typical use, and the lamp is covered by Anglepoise's lifetime guarantee once registered.
How is it powered?
By USB. A USB-A to USB-C cable and a plug-in adapter are included; note that it isn't designed for smart sockets or smart switches.
Is it dimmable?
Yes. The control on top of the shade handles both on/off and dimming, so you can take the warm LED from task-bright down to a bedside glow.
