Accent Dining Table

Space Copenhagen turned solid oak into a sculptural pedestal for this round dining table, a descendant of Mater's 2009 High Stool.

Top and base are solid FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified oak, made in Slovenia, in 43.3-inch and 55.1-inch diameters. A single column instead of four legs leaves every chair free to pull in, and Mater's life-cycle assessment puts the 43.3-inch table at 85 kg CO2e. It shares its three finishes with the rest of the Accent series in our Mater collection.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth; clean with a cloth wrung out in lukewarm water and a mild detergent, following the grain, and dry immediately; avoid abrasive cleaners, direct sunlight and prolonged humidity

How many people does the Accent Dining Table seat?
The 43.3-inch Medium seats four comfortably and six for casual meals; the 55.1-inch Large seats six to eight. The central pedestal means no one straddles a table leg.

Is it really solid wood?
Yes — top and turned pedestal are solid FSC-certified oak throughout, finished with a stain or matt lacquer, which means the surface can be refinished rather than replaced.

Does it arrive assembled?
It ships flat-packed in one box and assembles at home with the enclosed instructions. Hard plastic gliders come fitted as standard. Mater rates the table for private and public use.
