Accent Side Table

Four sizes of turned solid oak put Space Copenhagen's Accent table beside a sofa, a bed, or a reading chair.

Each is shaped from solid FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified oak in Slovenia, with the sculptural pedestal the Accent series took from the 2009 Mater High Stool. Small and X Large share a low 16.5-inch height while Medium and Large stand at 21.6 inches, so a pair at different diameters groups well in one room. It is the small-space entry point to our Mater collection.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth; clean with a cloth wrung out in lukewarm water and a mild detergent, following the grain, and dry immediately; avoid abrasive cleaners, direct sunlight and prolonged humidity

Which size works as a bedside table?
The Medium — its 21.6-inch height sits close to most mattress tops. Small suits sofas and lounge chairs, Large doubles as a lamp table, and X Large is a low, wide 27.6-inch surface.

Can it live in a bathroom or on a covered porch?
Keep it indoors in stable humidity. Mater specifies the Accent tables for indoor use, and prolonged moisture or temperature swings can move and check solid oak.

Does it arrive assembled?
It ships flat-packed in one box and assembles at home with the enclosed instructions. Hard plastic gliders are fitted as standard, so the base sits safely on wood or tile.
