Ethnicraft
Solid-wood furniture from Antwerp, made to age well
Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.
- Solid wood, oiled or water-based varnished
- Serbian factory runs on wood-residue energy
- Re-Loved: refurbished for a second life
Air Bed
Rounded edges and floating proportions make a solid oak bed frame feel almost weightless in the room.
Alain van Havre designed the Air bed for Ethnicraft to add softness and lightness to the usual idea of a bed. The frame is solid oak with a matte hardwax oil finish, made in Serbia, and ships with bed slats included — a calm, architectural anchor for a modern bedroom.

Common Questions
What mattress sizes fit the Air Bed?
A standard US Queen (60 x 80 in) or US King (76 x 80 in), depending on the frame size you choose. Bed slats are included, so the mattress rests directly on the frame.
How do I care for the oak frame?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a slightly damp one. The hardwax oil finish can be refreshed with a compatible oil over the years, letting the oak age gracefully.
