Arne Jacobsen Weather Station Products

Three instruments on the Bankers dial — air pressure, temperature, relative humidity — each 4.7 inches across.

Rosendahl built these from the face Arne Jacobsen drew for Danmarks Nationalbank rather than from an original Jacobsen instrument. Hung together, or beside a Bankers clock, the barometer, thermometer, and hygrometer give you a complete weather station in one visual language. Domed mineral glass over an aluminium case. Browse the full Arne Jacobsen Clocks range. Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions

Is this one item or three?
Three separate instruments, each sold on its own at Ø 4.7 in. Combine the barometer, thermometer, and hygrometer with a Bankers clock and you have the full set on one wall.

Did Arne Jacobsen design the weather station?
No. Rosendahl derived these instruments from the Bankers clock face Jacobsen drew for Danmarks Nationalbank around 1970 — the dial is his, the instruments are a later extension.

What does each one tell me?
The barometer reads air pressure, which signals changing weather; the thermometer reads temperature; the hygrometer reads relative humidity, useful for instruments, plants, and timber floors.

Arne Jacobsen Clocks +

Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) is one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Scandinavian modernism. His clock designs — Bankers, Station, City Hall and Roman — were originally drawn for Denmark's National Bank, Aarhus City Hall and Rødovre Town Hall in the 1930s–70s and remain in continuous production. Each piece is built around an aluminum case with mineral-glass lens. Produced under license by Rosendahl Design Group, a Certified B Corp.

Care Guide +

Wipe Arne Jacobsen clocks with a dry, lint-free cloth — never use water, glass cleaner or solvents on the aluminum case or mineral-glass lens. Replace the AA battery (table clocks) or C-cell (large wall clocks) once a year to prevent leakage. Hang wall clocks on a single secure screw and avoid mounting in direct sunlight, bathrooms or near heat sources, which can affect movement accuracy.
