Barrow Lounge Chair

A 1950s silhouette on a slender metal base, upholstered for the long, slow evening.

Jacques Deneef's Barrow collection for Ethnicraft takes its cues from mid-century lounges: high-density foam wrapped in Italian-woven fabric, floated on a light metal footbase. Made in Poland, the lounge chair comes in four upholstery colors and pairs with the Barrow sofa, footstool, and pouf.

Common Questions

How low is the Barrow Lounge Chair's seat?
The seat sits 16.5 inches from the floor — a relaxed lounge height that encourages sinking in, comparable to most modern lounge chairs and easy to rise from.

What other Barrow pieces match it?
The Barrow sofa, footstool, and pouf share the same Jacques Deneef design language and fabric palette, so a full seating group can be built in matching or mixed colors.

Care Guide +

Do not wash upholstered items unless clearly indicated on the label attached. Removing the covers to machine or hand wash (even at a low temperature) may lighten the colour and shrink the fabric. Some items have an anti-stain treatment applied to the textile, if this is dry cleaned, the process will affect the anti-stain performance. Always pay close attention to the care symbols on the affixed label before dry cleaning.
