Asger Soelberg designed the Asger chair for Bent Hansen, shaping its seat and curved back so you can sit upright for dinner or lean back between courses.

Asger is the wooden dining chair in the Bent Hansen collection: a frame in oiled oak with short armrests that run into a gently curved backrest. The seat is upholstered in black Zenso 2, a semi-aniline leather dyed through and protected against dirt. Bent Hansen designed the seat and back to support you in different sitting positions. It is a chair for long meals, as settled at a kitchen table as in a dining room.

Will the armrests fit under my table?
The armrests sit 27.2 in (69 cm) above the floor. Measure from the floor to the underside of your tabletop or apron: if that is higher, the chair tucks in; if not, it will stop at the arms.

How do I clean the leather seat?
Vacuum or dust it with a soft brush. When it needs cleaning, use a lather of mild soap flakes on a damp cloth, never soak the leather, and polish dry. Keep it out of strong sun and away from heat.

Can I return it?
No. The Asger chair is final sale and can't be returned or exchanged, so please check the dimensions first. Report any transit damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery.
