Bini Coffee Table

Twenty-eight inches across and under 13 pounds — a lounge table one person can carry out to wherever the shade is.

The Bini coffee table repeats the soft geometry of Joan Gaspar's seating so a lounge group reads as one design rather than a collection of parts. It is injected in polypropylene with fiberglass, at least 30 percent of it post-consumer recycled in every color, and UV protected through the material, so there is no top to seal and no frame to rust. Made in Spain by Resol.

Common Questions

Is it stable enough outdoors?
At 12.1 lb it is light enough to reposition easily but wide-footed at 27.6 in across. On very exposed terraces, pair it with the heavier Baobab or Brisa tables instead.

What seating does it match?
The Bini Lounge Chair at 28.6 in back height. The coffee table's 15.9 in top sits just below the lounge seat, which is the relationship the range was drawn around.

How do I clean the top?
Rinse with clean water at moderate pressure. For marks that stay, wipe with a neutral detergent solution on a clean damp cloth, then dry the surface thoroughly.

Resol +

Resol designs and makes indoor–outdoor furniture in Spain, and all of its production is in-house at its facilities in Les Preses (La Garrotxa, Girona). Most pieces are injected polypropylene, often reinforced with fiberglass and always UV protected, alongside rotomoulded MDPE, aluminum, steel and HPL. Resol works with designers including Josep Lluscà, Joan Gaspar, Pensi Design Studio, Benedetta Tagliabue and Joana Bover. Its furniture is built for heavy but not permanent outdoor use, so Resol advises storing it under cover when it will sit unused for long periods.

On materials, we repeat only what Resol states for each collection. Toledo Aire is 100% post-consumer recycled polypropylene. Brisa's backrests and armrests are 100% post-consumer recycled polypropylene in every color, and its black (Noche) base is 100% post-industrial recycled material. Baobab's black (Noche) base is 100% post-industrial recycled material, Bini tables contain at least 30% post-consumer recycled material in every color, and Gelato's slats are recycled polypropylene. Post-industrial here means material reclaimed from Resol's own production. Resol has told us its recycled Green Edition colorways are discontinued, and its other collections don't state recycled content, so we don't claim it for them. Polypropylene is recyclable, Resol's management system is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 14006 (ecodesign), and the company has committed that by 2027 all of its injected products will contain at least 30% recycled material.
