Bolonia Lounge Chair
Wider, lower, set further back — the lounge version trades a dining posture for an afternoon one.
The Bolonia lounge chair drops the seat to 16.5 inches and opens the frame to 26.5 across, still bent from galvanized steel wire in iSiMAR's Navarra factory. Steel from 100% recycled sources, a texturized matte powder coat rated for exterior and intensive use, and certification to UNE-EN 581-1 and 581-2 keep it viable on a terrace. How is the lounge chair different from the dining chair?
The seat sits 1.6 inches lower at 16.5 inches, the frame is 5.7 inches wider at 26.5, and the back angle is more open — built for reading rather than eating.
Can it be left out in the rain?
Yes. The open wire frame drains, the steel is galvanized before coating, and the finish carries a C5H salt-spray classification under ISO 12944. Rinse salt residue off periodically near the coast.
Does it need a cushion?
Not structurally — the curved wire seat is the support. iSiMAR offers upholstered pads for the Bolonia lounge separately if you want a softer seat for longer sitting.
