Bowl Table Extra Large

At 29.5 inches across, Ayush Kasliwal's Extra Large is the only Bowl Table sized to anchor a full sofa arrangement.

It is the same piece of craft at a different scale: one mango wood blank turned on a lathe by India's Kharadi woodturners, finished in a lead-free, water-based PU lacquer, on milled hollow-steel legs that detach for moving. The drop to 15 inches high is what makes it a coffee table rather than a side table, and the bowl profile keeps the mass off the floor. The smaller sizes in our Mater collection are built the same way, so a cluster reads as one family.

Common Questions

How is the Extra Large different from the Large?
Scale only. Both are turned from solid mango wood on detachable steel legs, but the Extra Large is nearly ten inches wider and three inches lower, which is what turns it into a primary coffee table.

Will my table look like the photograph?
Close, not identical. Every top is turned from solid mango wood, so grain, figure and tone shift from piece to piece, and the Black and Sirka Grey lacquers let that variation read through.

Can I put hot cups and drinks on it?
Drinks yes, wiped promptly. The water-based PU lacquer is a daily-use finish rather than a heatproof one, so use a coaster or trivet under anything hot and do not leave standing water on the top.
