Both materials are outdoor-grade: Soft Rope resists UV and moisture, and teak weathers to silver-grey untreated. Cane-line's Cover 8 protects it through winter.
Is the rope seat comfortable without a cushion?
Yes — Soft Rope has a slight flex that firms into support, so the chair is designed to be sat in as-is through long dinners.
