Three full-width, self-closing drawers hide inside a 60-inch desk of 100% solid Moso bamboo.

The Currant Writing Desk keeps a home office honest: a clean Mid-Century silhouette on trim, tapered legs, with storage running the entire width of the desktop. Five-sided drawer boxes with English dovetail joinery come from the same Greenington workshop as the rest of the Currant collection, in three finishes.

All Greenington furniture is made of 100% natural bamboo. It is very hard, dense and extremely durable. Like any natural hardwood furniture, maintaining the humidity in a controlled environment is also very important for bamboo furniture. Keeping the relative humidity in the range of 40 to 55 percent will greatly reduce the potential for any checking or warping, allowing you to better preserve the natural beauty of the pieces.
