Tala
Low-energy lighting designed and engineered in London
Tala was founded in 2015 by three Edinburgh University friends. Its London team designs and engineers its LED lighting in-house, in aluminium and brass rather than plastic, and builds it to be durable and repairable.

Double Rotary Wall Dimmer in Graphite
Two independent dials, one faceplate — a rotary dimmer built to feel mechanical, not digital.
Each of the two independent dials is trailing-edge rated for smooth 0–100% dimming on both LED and incandescent loads, so you can run separate fixtures side by side from one plate. Tala is a London lighting company and a certified B Corporation — every design is engineered in-house around long-life, low-energy LEDs. See the rest of the range in our Tala collection.

Common Questions
What is the wattage rating?
Each of the two independent dials is trailing-edge rated for LED loads of 2–200W and incandescent loads of 10–300W, so both dials can run different fixtures at their own brightness.
Will it work with any light fixture?
It's optimized specifically for Tala's own lights and fixtures, and it's UL/ETL listed for a straightforward wall installation.
Is installation straightforward?
Yes — it installs into a standard wall box like any hardwired dimmer switch, and its IP20 rating means it's intended for dry, indoor locations only.
