Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.

Ease Sofa
Paul Delaisse designed the Ease sofa for Ethnicraft's 2026 collection and had it upholstered in Italy, with a 15.5-inch seat and 8-inch-wide arms built for resting a mug on.
The Ease sofa from Ethnicraft extends the Ease lounge chair already in our range into two and three seats. Delaisse kept the same low, deep proportions: a 24.5-inch seat depth, arms broad enough to rest a mug on, and feather-chamber back cushions over foam that soften with use. The Leche upholstery is an off-white weave of polyester, viscose, cotton and linen, rated to 40,000 Martindale rubs and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. The frame is plywood with webbing suspension, and the sofa meets California TB 117-2013.

Common Questions
What arrives in the box?
One carton with the sofa fully assembled: frame, seat cushions and loose feather-and-foam back cushions. There are no legs to fit; the sofa sits on nylon glides. The three-seater carton is 85 inches long.
How does the Leche fabric handle everyday use?
Leche is rated to 40,000 Martindale rubs with pilling grade 4 and lightfastness grade 4, which covers daily family use. Blot spills immediately; the covers are not designed for machine washing.
Will it fit through a standard door?
The sofa is 36 inches deep and 28.5 inches high, so on its side it passes a 30-inch door. The three-seater is 82.5 inches long, which usually needs a straight run into the room rather than a tight hallway turn.
