Ekstrem Lounge Chair
Norwegian designer Terje Ekstrøm reimagined lounge seating in 1984 with an open steel frame that invites constant movement.
Rather than dictating one posture, its open geometry lets you sit forward, sideways, or reclined, drawing on the postmodern Scandinavian movement Ekstrøm helped pioneer. The steel frame is padded in polyurethane foam and upholstered by hand in Devold wool or Kvadrat Febrik velvet, then built in Poland for Varier.
