Ethnicraft
Solid-wood furniture from Antwerp, made to age well
Benoit Loos and Philippe Delaisse founded Ethnicraft in Antwerp more than 30 years ago. It makes solid oak and teak furniture in its own factories, and its Re-Loved programme refurbishes pieces for a second life.
- Solid wood, oiled or water-based varnished
- Serbian factory runs on wood-residue energy
- Re-Loved: refurbished for a second life
Elements Floor Shelf
Six feet of hand-applied microcement, sitting a foot off the floor and open to interpretation.
The Elements floor shelf from Ethnicraft is finished by hand in Serbia in Off White microcement — a cement-based coating sealed with a water-based topcoat. Low and long, it works as a book ledge, a media unit under a wall-mounted TV, or a relaxed coffee table.

Common Questions
Can the Elements Floor Shelf hold a TV?
Yes — its low, solid microcement form makes a stable media bench, and at 71 or 86.5 inches wide it carries most televisions with room for objects alongside.
Will the surface tone match other Elements pieces?
Closely, but each piece is hand-finished, so subtle variations in tone and texture are inherent — pieces from the collection are designed to harmonize rather than match exactly.
