A full wall of books calls for the tall unit — 63 inches of Mogensen’s “building furniture,” the largest in the series.
The A154 carries the most shelf area of the system Børge Mogensen began in the early 1950s and refined for the rest of his career at FDB Møbler, the Danish cooperative where he founded the design studio in 1942. It is solid oak, nature lacquered and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, with each shelf tested to 44 lbs, and it must be anchored to the wall.
