A232 Drawer for sideboard

Flatware, letters, the small tools of a household — the shallow drawer keeps the A232 sideboard’s interior in order.

Designed for Børge Mogensen’s A232 sideboard, which first appeared in the 1964 FDB Møbler catalog, this small drawer is oak, nature lacquered, with a 1.8-inch-high box for things that should stay flat and findable. Pair it with the large drawer and trays to divide the interior your way.

Common Questions

Will this drawer fit my sideboard?
It fits the FDB Møbler A232 sideboard only — 22.6 inches wide by 15.3 inches deep, made to slide into the A232’s interior fittings.

When should I choose the small drawer over the large?
Choose the small, 1.8-inch-high drawer for cutlery, napkins, and documents; the large 3.7-inch version suits bulkier items. Many owners combine both to layer the storage.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
