A85 Butler Sideboard
Over five feet of sideboard on legs slender enough to keep a dining room feeling open — the Butler series at full width.
Designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen, whose work has entered MoMA’s collections, the A85 is the wide sideboard of the Butler series from FDB Møbler. It is built from particle board with oak veneer and a nature lacquered front, and because veneer is a natural material, each piece carries its own grain.

Common Questions
Is the A85 too large for a small dining room?
It is 61.7 inches wide and 15 inches deep — measure your wall first. For tighter spaces, the A83 offers the same design at 41.3 inches wide.
Why does the veneer vary between pieces?
Oak veneer is cut from real wood, so grain and tone differ naturally from cabinet to cabinet — FDB Møbler treats this as part of the design, making each piece one of a kind.
