FDB Møbler began in 1942, when Børge Mogensen set out to make furniture that was both beautiful and affordable. It still makes his designs alongside new ones, and every piece is tested at the Danish Technological Institute.

B145 Shelf With brackets - Black
The drawings surfaced decades later in FDB Møbler’s archives — among the first furniture Ejvind A. Johansson drew as head of its design studio.
Put into production from those archive drawings, the B145 is an oak veneer shelf, nature finished, carried by two black powder lacquered brackets. This is the 17.7-inch length: hang it alone where one shelf will do, or combine several into a larger arrangement.

Can I combine several B145 shelves?
Yes — the shelf comes in two lengths and two bracket finishes and is meant to be combined in many ways, or hung alone where one shelf is enough.
What is the difference between the bracket finishes?
Looks only — the same shelf comes with brushed stainless or black powder lacquered brackets. This version is black, which reads more graphic against pale walls.
