C35B Dining table - Light Grey

Between the compact C35A and the ten-seat C35C sits the mid-size table most dining rooms need.

Designed by Poul M. Volther in 1957 for FDB Møbler, the C35B pairs a pale grey linoleum top, code 4176, with a solid FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified oak frame on slightly slanted legs. The light surface keeps the six-seat table visually quiet, whether it stands in a kitchen or carries a dinner that runs late.

Materials

Solid FSC-certified oak frame; light grey linoleum tabletop (4176)

Dimensions

32.3 in W x 63 in D x 28.4 in H; 70.5 lbs

Designer

Poul M. Volther, 1957

Finishes

Tabletop in black, dark grey, light grey, or olive green linoleum, or nature-lacquered oak

Common Questions

How many seats does the C35B have?
Six at its 63 by 32.3-inch top. If your household swings larger, the small C35 extension leaf — sold separately in matching light grey linoleum, code 4176 — adds length when needed.

Is linoleum a practical tabletop?
Yes — it gives the table a smooth, even surface suited to everyday meals, and it is carried by the same solid FSC-certified oak frame used across the C35 series.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
