C44 Coffee Table - Beige

Flip the tabletop over and the room changes character — Jørgen Bækmark's 1963 design carries a second color underneath.

Bækmark drew the C44 in 1963, and it quickly became a sought-after piece at FDB Møbler. This coffee-table version pairs a solid oak frame in natural finish with plywood and FENIX laminate in beige — a reversible top with a different laminate color on each side. The matte surface is easy to clean and leaves no fingerprints, which suits a table that lives at the center of the living room.

Materials

Solid oak frame (natural), plywood, reversible FENIX laminate top in beige

Common Questions

How does the reversible top work?
Each side of the tabletop is finished in a different FENIX laminate color, so you can turn the top over whenever you want the other shade — two looks from one table.

Is the laminate easy to look after?
Yes — FENIX laminate has a matte, durable surface that is easy to clean and does not show fingerprints, so the table handles cups, books, and daily living-room traffic.

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
