This extension leaf fits the C63E, the extending rectangular dining table from the Bjørk collection Unit10 designed for FDB Møbler. It comes in painted beech because nature-oak leaves can only be grade-matched when ordered with a new table; painted black, it forms a deliberate contrast band across the oak top when the table is extended.

Why painted beech rather than oak?
Oak leaves can only be grade-matched to a tabletop at production, so they ship two per table with new tables. Leaves sold on their own come in black- or grey-painted beech instead.
