C63E Bjørk Extension Leaf - Black

When the rectangular Bjørk needs to grow, a black-painted beech leaf drops in — sold separately for good reason.

This extension leaf fits the C63E, the extending rectangular dining table from the Bjørk collection Unit10 designed for FDB Møbler. It comes in painted beech because nature-oak leaves can only be grade-matched when ordered with a new table; painted black, it forms a deliberate contrast band across the oak top when the table is extended.

Common Questions

Does this leaf fit my table?
It fits the rectangular C63E Bjørk dining table, matching its 39.4-inch top depth. The round C62E takes its own leaf, sized to that table's 45.3-inch span.

Why painted beech rather than oak?
Oak leaves can only be grade-matched to a tabletop at production, so they ship two per table with new tables. Leaves sold on their own come in black- or grey-painted beech instead.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
