FDB Møbler began in 1942, when Børge Mogensen set out to make furniture that was both beautiful and affordable. It still makes his designs alongside new ones, and every piece is tested at the Danish Technological Institute.

A side table in solid pine, painted carmine red with hand-made linseed-oil paint from a Southern Jutland workshop.
Katrine Sander designed the D108 Ragnesminde series for FDB Møbler around materials with deep roots — pine, and linseed-oil paint from Linolie & Pigment A/S in Øsby, where the old formulas are still followed by hand. The small round table is named for the Danish farmhouse that houses FDB's headquarters, and it moves wherever a drink, a lamp, or a plant needs to land.
