J138 Folding chair

Designed in 1978 and relaunched by the cooperative that first produced it, this chair folds completely flat between uses.

Erik Ole Jørgensen — trained as both an upholsterer and a furniture designer — gave the J138 a solid oak frame, nature oiled, with a seat and back of 100% linen certified to OEKO-TEX. FDB Møbler has tested it to 100 kg (220 lbs), so the extra chair you pull out for guests is as dependable as the ones already at the table.
