Erik Ole Jørgensen trained as an upholsterer before he designed furniture — and this 1978 spoke-back sofa shows it.

The J149 three-person couch pairs a nature-lacquered solid oak spoke-back frame with loose cushions in Main Line Flax Brown (15), part of the seating series Jørgensen drew for FDB Møbler. The open frame keeps a 74-inch sofa visually light; the warm brown cushions set its character.
