The bar stool, J27B, is a classic piece of furniture by Børge Mogensen from his time as head of FDB's furniture design studio in the 1940s. Børge Mogensen (1914–1972) was the founding Creative Manager of FDB Møbler in 1942 and one of Denmark's most influential furniture designers. A student of Kaare Klint, he championed simple, functional, and durable wooden furniture—making beautiful design accessible to everyday families.
