Dutch wool from De Ploeg meets Danish oak in the module that makes this sofa series genuinely flexible.

The L42 Firhøj pouf module wears De Ploeg wool in a grey-beige melange over solid nature-lacquered oak legs — a textural, hard-wearing cover on a warm base. Designed by Unit10 for FDB Møbler, the Danish design studio founded in 1942 and a Certified B Corporation.

Common Questions

What is De Ploeg fabric?
De Ploeg is a Dutch textile weaver known for durable wool furniture fabrics; here its grey-beige melange weave gives the pouf a lively, mottled surface that wears gracefully.

How would I use this module?
As a footrest for the Firhøj couches, a movable extra seat, or a soft low table for books and trays — at 35.4 in square and 32 lbs it repositions easily.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
