This M15 Ermelunden bench without backrest renders Børge Mogensen's design in nature-oiled thermo ash — heat-treated for greater stability and resistance outdoors — with the series' signature wide feet that keep it from sinking into grass. From FDB Møbler, where Mogensen led design from 1942.

Ash wood treated with heat and steam, which reduces moisture uptake and makes the timber more dimensionally stable and durable outdoors — with a darker, richer tone than untreated ash.
Thermo ash or pine — which Ermelunden should I choose?
