M15 Ermelunden Bench With out backrest

Ermelunden is a garden furniture series designed by the furniture designer Børge Mogensen in 1965. The name Ermelunden is taken from a small forest in Gentofte, close to where he lived. Intended as a stationary furniture arrangement. It was imperative for Børge Mogensen that his furniture was highly functional. And so it is no coincidence that he chose to give Ermelunden wide feet to prevent the legs from sinking into the grass. Børge Mogensen was so pleased with Ermelunden that he chose to have the furniture in his private garden in Gentofte and also at his holiday home near Limfjorden in central Jutland.
Børge Mogensen (1914–1972) was the founding Creative Manager of FDB Møbler in 1942 and one of Denmark's most influential furniture designers. A student of Kaare Klint, he championed simple, functional, and durable wooden furniture—making beautiful design accessible to everyday families.
Built from sustainably sourced materials designed to withstand the elements, this piece embodies FDB Møbler's commitment to durable, long-lasting outdoor furniture.
