An extra shelf for a 1964 classic — because Mogensen's A232 sideboard was always meant to be configured.

This nature-lacquered oak shelf fits Børge Mogensen's A232 sideboard, the 1964 design that became coveted vintage before FDB Møbler returned it to production with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified veneer and custom brass fittings. Add shelves and trays to arrange the interior your way.

Common Questions

Do I need this if my A232 came with shelves?
Only for reconfiguring — extra shelves let you split tall compartments for glassware, files, or linens instead of leaving unused air.

Is installation tool-free?
Yes — the shelf rests on the sideboard's interior supports and lifts out again as your storage needs change.

Care Guide +

FDB Møbler furniture is crafted from FSC-certified wood, powder-coated steel, and OEKO-TEX textiles. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight. Dust with a soft cloth; clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For lacquered surfaces, avoid harsh chemicals. For oiled wood, re-oil periodically. For upholstery, vacuum regularly and address spills promptly. Lift furniture rather than dragging across floors.
