Fermob Balad² Lamp
Ten years after the original, the Balad² keeps the iconic handle and rebuilds nearly everything behind it.
Tristan Lohner's second-generation lantern for Fermob is up to four times brighter than the first Balad, adds a touch-activated dimmer, and charges through a magnetic USB-C connection. Three color moods — including a flickering candlelight mode — each dim smoothly from 10 to 100 percent.

Common Questions
What changed from the original Balad?
More light — up to four times brighter — plus a touch dimmer instead of a push button, a candlelight flicker mode, a tougher IP54 rating, and magnetic USB-C charging.
Is it safe in the rain?
Yes — IP54 protection covers rain and splashes in normal outdoor use. Charge it indoors on the magnetic USB-C cable and store it inside over winter to protect the battery.
