Every piece is finished with Fermob's proprietary anti-UV polyester powder coating — applied electrostatically and cured in ovens — which provides lasting colour fidelity and weather resistance without heavy metals or volatile organic compounds. Fermob holds ISO 14001 environmental certification and has committed to reducing its carbon footprint through solar energy installations at its manufacturing sites, optimised logistics, and the use of recycled aluminium in selected product lines.

Fermob products are built for durability and outdoor use, and are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Aluminum products carry a 3-year warranty for structural integrity and a 2-year warranty on finish-related issues. Steel products are covered by a 2-year warranty for structural integrity and a 1-year warranty on finish-related issues.

Clean metal surfaces when debris accumulates using a soft cloth and mild soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly. Remove bird droppings, sap, and leaves promptly to prevent surface damage. For scratches or chips in the powder coating, use Fermob touch-up spray or paint pen to prevent corrosion. Do not cover with non-breathable materials; allow good air circulation. Store in a dry location during extended non-use or raise furniture on blocks to avoid moisture retention around feet.
