Fermob
Steel and aluminium furniture made in France since 1890
Fermob builds its chairs and tables in its own factories in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, from steel and aluminium sourced mainly in Europe. Every piece gets Fermob's own anti-UV powder coat, which keeps its colour outdoors without heavy metals or VOCs.

Fermob Luxembourg Side Chair (Set of 2)
The chairs scattered through Paris's Jardin du Luxembourg inspired this one — Frédéric Sofia rebuilt the 1923 original in aluminum.
Sofia's 2004 reinterpretation kept the garden chair's curved slats and easy posture while trading heavy steel for lightweight aluminum; Fermob still supplies seating to the Paris parks today. Each chair is powder-coated over a cataphoresis anti-corrosion treatment at the Thoissey factory and stacks ten high. Sold as a set of two chairs in one color; the per-chair price shows beside the set price.

Common Questions
Can the Luxembourg chair stay outside all season?
Yes. Aluminum will not rust, and the cataphoresis treatment plus UV-resistant powder coat protect the finish through sun and rain. Rinse with mild soapy water and stack the chairs under cover for winter.
How many chairs can I stack?
Up to ten — the frames nest cleanly, and integrated pads keep stacked chairs from scratching each other, so a full dining set stores in one corner.
