Fermob Sixties Low Table 30 x 22 in.
Description
The Fermob Sixties Low Table, designed by Frédéric Sofia, is a steel low table sized to serve a pair of Sixties chairs or a Sixties Low Armchair without dominating the seating arrangement. The 30 x 22 inch top is steel sheet — a deliberate construction departure from the rest of the Sixties collection, which uses aluminium for chairs and benches — making the surface heat- and impact-tolerant for everyday outdoor use. The base is tubular steel, and both top and base carry the same cataphoresis-treated powder-coat finish so the piece reads as a single object rather than a top-on-base assembly. At 16 inches tall, it sits at the right height to serve a Sixties Chair (32" seat) or Low Armchair (29" seat) without the awkward height mismatch that often plagues outdoor coffee-table arrangements.
Manufactured at Fermob's factory in Thoissey, France — the same Burgundy site that has produced Fermob's outdoor catalog since 1953 — with UV-stable powder coat in Fermob's full 24+ color range. Available at Comosum in 7 colorways: Liquorice, Cactus, Red Ochre, and Cotton White (matching the core Sixties collection palette), plus Honey, Acapulco Blue, and Rosemary, which bridge into other Fermob collections like Bistro, Luxembourg, and Bebop for buyers building a multi-collection outdoor scheme. Backed by Fermob's 5-year warranty against rust-through and powder coat failure. TSCA Title VI and California Prop 65 compliant. The Sixties Low Table can serve as a coffee-table replacement in compact outdoor seating areas, or as the central object in a porch arrangement. Steel construction also means the table holds heavier loads — a tray of glassware, a stack of books, a planter — without the deflection at the center that aluminium tabletops sometimes show.
