The Fermob Sixties Stackable Chair, designed by Frédéric Sofia, brings the 1960s-inspired silhouette of the Sixties collection to a hospitality-oriented format. Where the standard Sixties chair uses an aluminium frame for residential weight savings, the stackable version uses tubular steel — heavier per unit but stronger at the stack and better suited to the kind of daily moving and re-arranging contract environments demand. The seat is perforated polyethylene outdoor fibre rather than the braided weave of the residential version, which lets rainwater drain rather than puddle, and dries fast enough that an outdoor café can wipe down and re-seat customers within minutes of a shower passing through.

Manufactured at Fermob's factory in Thoissey, France, with the brand's cataphoresis-treated, UV-stable powder coat in 24+ colors. Sold in two pack sizes — Set of 2 for residential balconies and small terraces, Set of 4 for hospitality refits, garden parties, and contract installations. Stack height accommodates standard restaurant storage; the steel frame ferrules are recessed so chairs don't scratch each other when stacked. Available at Comosum in Cotton White, Red Ochre, Liquorice, and Cactus across both pack sizes. Backed by Fermob's 5-year warranty against rust-through and powder coat failure. TSCA Title VI and California Prop 65 compliant. A natural fit alongside the matching Sixties Low Table for café footprints, or paired with the larger Sixties Bench for outdoor dining setups where seating density matters. The Set of 4 pricing per chair is identical to the Set of 2 pricing per chair, so larger orders don't carry a per-unit penalty — Fermob structures the SKUs by sales unit, not by quantity discount, which is unusual in outdoor furniture and worth noting for buyers comparing prices across vendors.

Fermob is a French outdoor furniture house founded in 1953 in Thoissey, Burgundy, where the entire collection is still designed and manufactured today. Best known for the Bistro chair — based on a Parisian café design from 1889 and revived by Fermob in 1989 — Fermob works with long-tenured designers including Frédéric Sofia and Patrick Jouin. Every frame is finished in UV-stable, salt-spray-resistant powder coat in 24+ colors over cataphoresis-treated steel or recyclable aluminium.

Wipe the polyethylene fiber seat with a soft cloth and mild soap; rinse and dry. The fiber is UV- and weather-resistant but should not be pressure-washed. Wipe the powder-coated frame with a damp cloth and mild soap; touch-up paint is available from Fermob for surface marks. For coastal or pool environments, rinse occasionally to remove salt or chlorine residue. Cover or store indoors during extended freezing weather to extend the life of both the fiber weave and the powder-coat finish.
