Float Micro Desk

Pneumatic lift, no cord and no buttons — it rides from couch height to desk height under hand pressure.

The Float Micro puts a 22-by-14-inch surface wherever the work is, on floor glides or locking casters, both included in the box. An offset column keeps the base clear of your legs at every height, and the worksurface can be specified in bamboo bonded with no added formaldehyde. It joins the rest of the workspace pieces in our Humanscale collection.

Common Questions

Does the Float Micro need power?
No. Height changes are manual and pneumatic — a precision-formed steel column does the lifting, so there is no cord, no motor, and nothing to calibrate.

Glides or casters?
Both ship with the desk. Glides fix it in place and give a 19 to 30-inch range; locking casters let it roll and give 20.5 to 31.5 inches.

How much can the top hold?
Twelve pounds — a laptop and a notebook. The Float Micro is a mobile perch for focused work, not a loading surface for monitors or a full desk setup.
