Cabernet is the workhorse of the Holmegaard catalog, drawn by Peter Svarrer in fine glass. The water glass is machine-blown — it replaced an earlier mouth-blown version specifically for robustness and clarity — and is dishwasher safe up to 130°F. Made in Slovakia. Parent company Rosendahl Design Group is a Certified B Corp.

Common Questions

Is Cabernet mouth-blown?
The water glass is not. Holmegaard replaced an earlier mouth-blown version with a machine-blown one to gain robustness and clarity, so treat production method as a per-piece question.

Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, up to 130°F. The gift-boxed water glass set is explicitly rated for the machine, which is part of why Cabernet works as an everyday range.

Which carafe should I choose?
The 57.5 oz wine carafe holds roughly two bottles for decanting; the 40.6 oz water carafe is the table jug. Both share the range's plain, undecorated profile.
