Two butterfly leaves fold away beneath the top, so twelve seats become eight in about a minute.

The Hudson runs 78 inches closed and glides open past nine feet without a leaf to carry to a closet. Greenington builds it from 100% solid Moso bamboo, hand-finished in Black Walnut, and sets the legs at 45 degrees so the base stays clear of knees. Up to 12 with both leaves open. Closed at 78 inches long and 42 wide it comfortably seats eight, with the legs angled at 45 degrees to keep end seats usable.

How do I care for the Black Walnut finish?
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, keep indoor humidity between 40 and 55 percent, and keep the table away from heat vents and continuous direct sunlight. No wax or polish.

Like any natural hardwood furniture, maintaining the humidity in a controlled environment is also very important for bamboo furniture. Keeping the relative humidity in the range of 40 to 55 percent will greatly reduce the potential for any checking or warping, allowing you to better preserve the natural beauty of the pieces.
