Greenington, established in 2004 by Yang Lin, leverages over two decades of expertise in crafting high-quality bamboo products to produce sustainable, elegant furniture. Specializing in 100% solid Moso bamboo—a renewable resource 20% harder than Red Oak—Greenington ensures durability and longevity in every piece. The company adheres to strict international standards, maintaining a zero-waste manufacturing process that utilizes the entire bamboo culm, including sawdust, to generate steam for kilns and presses.
By hand-harvesting mature bamboo culms, Greenington preserves native ecosystems and promotes rapid regeneration. Their commitment to sustainability and quality has earned them recognition, including an honorable mention as Best Sustainable Home Furnishings Company in 2023 by Furniture Today's Reader Rankings. Greenington's furniture showcases the natural beauty of bamboo, offering a range of finishes from warm caramelized tones to rich black walnut, catering to diverse aesthetic preferences. As a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, Greenington continues to lead in eco-friendly furniture design, providing consumers with stylish, sustainable options that contribute to a greener planet.

All Greenington furniture is made of 100% natural bamboo. It is very hard, dense and extremely durable. Like any natural hardwood furniture, maintaining the humidity in a controlled environment is also very important for bamboo furniture. Keeping the relative humidity in the range of 40 to 55 percent will greatly reduce the potential for any checking or warping, allowing you to better preserve the natural beauty of the pieces.
