Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Lucent Large Side Table
Deeper and lower, this all-glass side table adds a genuine storage shelf to Matthew Hilton's Lucent series.
The Large Side Table scales up the collection's structural insight — tempered glass panels joined at right angles with UV bonding — into the workhorse of the range. The partition formed where the panels meet holds books, vinyl, or larger objects, all visible through the glass. Made in Lithuania for Case Furniture; ships fully assembled.

Common Questions
How is it different from the Small Side Table?
It is deeper (27.6 vs 15.7 inches) and lower (16.5 vs 20.5 inches), with a storage compartment sized for books, magazines, or records that the smaller table cannot hold.
Does the glass color affect what I see inside?
Somewhat — Clear keeps contents fully visible, while Bronze and Smoke tint them subtly, which can flatter mixed clutter. Where panels overlap, all three deepen in tone.
Is assembly required?
No — it arrives fully assembled with UV-bonded joins and no hardware. Two people should lift it into position.
