Lady Costanza Floor Lamp

Lady Costanza is the oversized, arching version of the Costanza lamp Paolo Rizzatto designed for Luceplan in 1986.

A telescopic stem rises from a 14-inch square base and curves out to hold a 19.7-inch shade over a sofa, reading chair or library table, without a ceiling connection. The dimmer is built into the lamp, so you set the mood at the light itself. Shades come in black, white or red, and like every Luceplan Costanza, the shade is a separate part that can be replaced on its own if it is ever damaged. It suits rooms with generous ceiling height and floor space around the seating it lights.

Common Questions

How much space does it need?
The stem adjusts from about 85 to 98 inches high and the arc reaches about 80 inches from the base, so plan for a ceiling above 8 feet and clear floor around a sofa or chair.

Is the light dimmable?
Yes. The dimmer is built into the lamp. Use a dimmable E26 LED bulb, sold separately.

Can the shade be replaced?
Yes. Luceplan sells the Lady Costanza shade separately in black, white and red, so a damaged shade can be replaced, or the color changed, without buying a new lamp.
