Millimetro Wall Lamp

Daniel Rybakken's Millimetro wall lamp for Luceplan is a mirror-finish metal disc mounted close to the wall, with the LED hidden behind it, so the disc seems to float on its own light.

At 9.8 inches across and just over an inch deep, it washes the wall with warm light in a hallway, along a staircase or either side of a bed, and reflects the room when it is off. The LED is built in and dims with a phase-cut dimmer. A small plate covers the junction box: choose paintable white to disappear into the wall, or royal blue, metal or brass to show it as a detail. It shares its disc with the Millimetro pendant, so the two work together in the same Luceplan scheme.

Common Questions

What is the wall plate for?
It covers the junction box behind the disc. Paintable white blends into the wall; royal blue, metal or brass make the plate a visible detail.

Is it dimmable?
Yes, with a phase-cut dimmer on a 120V circuit. The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to buy or replace.

Should I choose 2700K or 3000K?
2700K is the warmer light and suits living rooms and bedrooms; 3000K is slightly crisper for hallways and kitchens. Use one temperature throughout a room.
