Paul Newman founded Case in 2005. Matthew Hilton and Terence Woodgate, both Royal Designers for Industry, have designed for it since the first collection, and it reissues Robin Day's 1964 Forum sofa with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation.

Marlow Extension Table
Both leaves down, it's 27 inches wide; both up, eight people eat at Matthew Hilton's drop-leaf.
The Marlow Table is Hilton's answer for homes where a dining table can't occupy floor space all day. Designed for Case with solid wood legs that slide inward and lock when the leaves fold, it collapses from 72.8 inches to a 27.3-inch console — then opens for six to eight at dinner. Made in Lithuania with a veneered top and clear lacquer.

How does the drop-leaf mechanism work?
Each leaf folds down smoothly, and the legs slide inward and lock in place when collapsed — no loose parts to store, unlike a leaf-extension table.
How many people can it seat?
Fully open at 72.8 inches it seats six to eight. With one leaf up it works as a four-person table or desk; folded, it stands against a wall as a console.
