The Marseilles is 100% solid Moso bamboo, hand-finished in a deep Black Walnut tone that keeps the grain legible, on slender tapered legs with no visible hardware anywhere in the frame. How many people does the Marseilles seat?
Six around the 60-inch table and eight around the 72-inch, both at a standard 30-inch height with 36 inches of depth. The tapered legs sit inboard, so end seats are usable.
Is bamboo strong enough for a dining table?
Greenington mills only mature Moso bamboo into solid panels. Its classic bamboo measures about 20% harder than red oak, which is why the top can span 72 inches without a stretcher.
How do I look after the Black Walnut finish?
Wipe spills promptly with a soft damp cloth, keep indoor humidity between 40 and 55 percent, and keep the table out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents. No wax or polish.
