Compound Dining Chair

OEO Studio's dining chair stacks six high and carries 9.5 pounds of diverted waste in every shell.

The seat and back are Matek — coffee-shell waste bound with recycled plastic — on a 20 percent recycled steel frame, made in Latvia. It is the workhorse chair of our Mater collection, at home around the Mater and Conscious tables.

Yes — the press-molded shell rides on a welded 20 percent recycled steel frame, and each chair diverts about 4,330 grams of coffee-shell and plastic waste from landfill.
