Heller works with Massimo and Lella Vignelli, Mario Bellini, Sergio Asti and Frank Gehry. Its pieces sit in the permanent collections of MoMA, the Centre Pompidou and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and they're still made to be used every day, indoors and out.

MB2 Sofa
One molded piece of self-cushioning polymer seats two — no frame, no springs, no upholstery to weather or wear.
Mario Bellini's MB group took both the Red Dot and iF Design awards in 2004 for a material that flexes under weight, making the polymer itself the cushion. Weather-resistant and easy to clean, the MB 2 moves between living room, terrace, and lobby. The matching MB 1 lounge chair and MB 5 table are in the Heller collection.

How many people does it seat?
Two, comfortably. At 59 inches wide with a low 14-inch seat, it reads as a loveseat-scale lounge piece rather than a full-length sofa.
Can it live outside?
Yes. The molded polymer is weather-resistant and made for indoor-outdoor use, from poolside to hospitality lobbies. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and a mild, bleach-free cleaner.
