Mediterranea Table Lamp
Perforated brass, folded to hang like laundry on a Mediterranean balcony, throwing a graphic shadow across the table.
Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance introduced Mediterranea in 2015: one sheet of satin-brushed brass, punched with a geometric pattern and shaped to fall like cloth. The perforations are structural to the light, not decorative — they set how the glow escapes and what it prints on the surfaces around it. Made in France for Petite Friture, and assembled without glue so the parts separate for recycling.

How bright is it?
216 lumens — accent light rather than task light. Its job is the pattern it casts on the wall and table behind it, so it works best alongside other sources in a room.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The LED is integrated into the fixture, and no separate lamp is required.
Will the brass change over time?
Brass develops a patina with handling and air exposure, which softens the reflection. Dust with a dry soft cloth; skip metal polishes, which will strip the satin-brushed finish.
