Perforated brass, folded to hang like laundry on a Mediterranean balcony, throwing a graphic shadow across the table.

Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance introduced Mediterranea in 2015: one sheet of satin-brushed brass, punched with a geometric pattern and shaped to fall like cloth. The perforations are structural to the light, not decorative — they set how the glow escapes and what it prints on the surfaces around it. Made in France for Petite Friture, and assembled without glue so the parts separate for recycling.
